Undergunned capships?

On a slightly divergent note, I wonder if FS2's Lucifer accurately represents FS1's - did ships like

Much Confusion (*.vp's and tables)

Strange
Try removing root.vp and the demo vp and putting your vp back, that`s the best I can suggest....Since it`s a fresh install, the problem seems to be in your vp.

60 km distance limit

To the person who said the game works fine at 1000m/s - hey, I'm just telling you what IceFire told me...Certainly seemed to all go a bit wonky when I ran the game at around 250-300m/s, and 140 was the magical

Math Sucks, Again

surface area at a given time)*a_constant=rate_of_change_of_volume with respect to time at a given time
ie
s(...t) *c = v'(t)

we have v'(t) frome the previous question, so we need s(t)....s is surface area, and s(r)=pi*r^2, IIRC....r= h/2, and h=-3/10t+10
so s((-3/10t+10)/2)= pi*((-3/10t+10)/2)^2, wich if you simplify out I beleive...turns out to be (pi*(3*t-100)^2)/400

so s(t)= (pi*(3*t-100)^2)/400
and v'(t)=(-3pi*(3*t-100)^2)/4000

Re: Command is quite stupid. Why do they even use Beams? So ineffective.

Speed of sound is 340.29 m / s
Meaning, this can go 1000+ M/s
And this isnt even the most advanced tech...Its reasonable to assume that Anti-Ship weapons hundreds of years in the future can go 1000+ m/s....Flak/Turrets find it hard to shoot down a bomb at 150 M/s, which isnt even much....Get a Helios, mod it to go 150 m/s and get a Fenris to shoot it at any enemy ship....No ships except a few Shivan ones can go at 150 m/s.

Edit: A cyclops bomb is fission bomb.
